Working on Website ~<3

Journal Entry: Tue Nov 10, 2009, 2:07 PM
So, I'm working on my new Moon Senshi website right now, so if it's a little quiet around here that's why. I'll be working on new stuff again soon. ~<3

To help me keep track... (in semi, though not strict, chronological order)

1. Crimson Eagle lineart
2. Gods & Goddess contest by :iconyukieternity:
3. Draw all of the priests
4. Draw Sailor Astera and Sailor Titan together (just 'cause.)
5. Thank-you gift for Tetiel
6. Draw the amazoness quartet in their princess dresses.
7. Draw "priest and princess" series.

Do you take requests or trades? Yes. No. Maybe. It depends on what you want me to draw. If you're a good artist, I'm more likely to do a trade (well, as good of an artist as I am, anyway...if you're better artist than me, you're probably not interested in doing a trade....) If you're a bad artist, I'm more likely to take a request--in fact, the worse you draw, the more likely I am to take one.

Also, a quick note to anyone who may be here because I have +fav'd your photography or stock under "stock I plan to use" or "reference:" I use stock and photographs for reference purposes only. I will never, ever use your work in a photo manip, nor will I ever make a drawing that is a carbon copy of your photograph or stock image. When drawing my images, there are often people in odd poses, perspective shots, flowers, animals or things from nature I need references for. I may use your photograph as a reference in these cases.

Hey :)

I was looking at the links you sent me of your sheltie (just because I miss seeing sheltie puppies lol) and wow, does he look beautiful! He has a really beautiful face :3

But I wanted to ask you, how long did you have his ears (taped? glued?) before they stayed down on their own? I would have done it with Mina but the breeder said it takes something like 8 months to a year before they'll stay down on their own, and I didn't want to make her uncomfortable for that long.

Thank you! ^^<3 Moko is very typey, and he has a face that just melts your heart. (makes it hard to stay mad at him, little devil...) He looks a lot like his dad, who I guess is quite the hot-shot in the sheltie world. But Moko is huge--he was almost thirty pounds last time I checked. XD he could never be shown. My breeder rues his ridiculous size every time she sees him.

Haha, I actually did not tape down his ears past he first month or two--then we had the tape taken off, because my hubbie said he preferred them up. But what do you know, they just sort of flopped down on their own! They aren't actually show quality because I believe they're supposed to be pricked forward more (John, the hubby, says that looks "ridiculous"), but yeah...sometimes they just bend down without tape. His little ears bounce when he trots along on our walks. It kills me XD

this site says it takes about 4 1/2 months to a year for them to stay down on their own for collies...it's probably about the same for shelties, too.

Haha Mina is also hovering at around 28-30 pounds, so she's also a big sheltie. But those are the best, if you ask me :D If they're pets then who cares if they're too big to show. I am dying to get another sheltie from the same breeder, and I hope she/he turns out to be just as big

You didn't answer my question about his ears though :P lol.

With big shelties, there's more to snuggle ;-)

His ears were only taped a month or two, but we think that the flopping down is natural, and not because of the taping. Sometimes their ears just flop naturally. :-) The website I linked says about 4 1/2 months, but I don't know personally.
