Here are two of my original novel characters, Waoyon and Hueshii. They are sisters. Waoyon is one of the main characters, Hueshii is more of a secondary character.

Anyway, the challenge of the meme was to depict your characters in fishnets. I don't really have any characters ('cept maybe Sayoko from Moon Senshi) who would wear fishnets, but it occurred to me that Ninjas are often depicted wearing fishnets under their peasant gear (anyone know why, or if this is actually true?) so I went with that. It was actually a lot of fun drawing these two.

Waoyon's clan are essentially ninja/assassins, who kill people for money. Trouble occurs when Waoyon's village is slaughtered by Emperor Shaolleu. But why? The tradition of killing off dangerous adversaries and rivals in Waoyon's society is long-standing. Even more oddly, a rival clan performs the mercenary work--and killing rival Errugi is taboo.

After seeing the death of her parents, Waoyon vows revenge and tries to convince Hueshii and the remaining (youthful) Errugi of the Kaoshen clan that revenge can be theirs. But with few numbers, and Waoyon's plan to ally with the normally enemy race of the Oakmen looking unlikely, Hueshii is loathe to get on board. Instead, she argues, they should try to rebuild their lives as peaceful farmers and medicine workers.
