Tokimo Joshi comes from the era/place of Crystal Tokyo, about 14 years after the queen's ascension. A perpetual idealist and genki girl extraordinaire, Tokimo practically wants to live her life in a manga. She grew up on a floating city in the Pacific; known for it's abundance of stable clerical jobs and popular "getaway" tourist industry, it's hardly a place known for excitement. As a result, Tokimo's become almost obsessed with thrills. She constantly reads action-packed, fantasy-filled manga, obsessing over the idea of a life as a super hero. As early as age six, she was trying to defend high school kids from being picked on, often with less-than-successful results. Tokimo always tries, though; and when she tries, she gives her all.

When she was informed of her destiny as Sailor Charon, it was a dream come true. Finally, she could beat up bad guys, right wrongs, and "triumph over evil." When she learned that the "evil" was Queen Diana, an ancient dictator of the Moon, and that killing Chibi-Usa would be necessary to stop her reincarnation, Tokimo had no problems accepting that she would have to be the one to do the dirty deed. She pursued her "necessary sacrifice" with all the zealousness that she pursued any excitement with.

When the evil threat of Nemesis appeared, though, Tokimo realized she would have to put her mission against the princess aside for the greater good and worry about tackling the ominous prophecy later. It is while fighting this shadowy foe that she goes up against Coeus of Metis. Much like there are three powers that guard the earth--Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Mask, and Helios of Elysion--there were once three powers that guarded all of the planets in the solar system. Coeus was once the priest of Mercury, but when Queen Diana conquered Sol and severed the three powers, he was abandoned by his Mother, Queen Tyche of Mercury, and left to die on the Mercurian holy land of Metis. Bitter over his mother's betrayal toward her own son, Coeus became something of a misanthrope and was all too willing to join Nemesis in her ambition to wipe out Sol. Tokimo, however, seeks out his civilian alter ego and makes a point of befriending him in the hopes of bringing him to the side of good and reuniting the three powers of Mercury. Coeus soon finds himself drawn to Tokimo's infectiously upbeat personality, and they form something of an odd couple--Tokimo encouraging the uptight Coeus to relax, and Coeus encouraging Tokimo to look before she leaps.

Because Coeus is so far away from the Quicksilver Crystal (Sailor Mercury's crystal/starseed), he cannot maintain his human form for long and reverts to the form of Mercury's guardian beast, the Criosphinx, while at the tournament.

Abilities: With the Purple Crystal/Charon Starseed, can teleport through time and space with great effort of will and energy. She also wields a Naginata, a Japanese polearm resembling a spear.
Attacks:

SPACE-TIME BLAST! - A bubble is formed in which space is distorted. This causes the enemy to feel nauseous and often induces vomiting or causes them to have difficulty moving.

CHAOS COMPASS! - Sailor Charon disappears momentarily; when she reappears, she lands in front of the enemy. The attack may randomly land her in front of, behind, or to either side of her opponent.

Weakness: Her attacks are useless against other Senshi who control time or space (although the opposite is true; time-space attacks are similarly ineffective against her.)

Guardian Of: Metis, the holy land of Mercury; also, as Tokimo's beau, he "babysits" Sailor Charon to keep her from doing anything too insane (often with mixed success.)
Abilities: Limited control over ice/fresh water; ability to make minor items (e.g., disguise pen, communicator)
Weakness: Not very strong in a fight. Like all priests, Coeus' main abilities are focused on support, not combat.
Personality: Coeus is geeky, arrogant, and sharp-witted, quick to criticize others and loathe to criticize himself. He's brilliant, however--almost certainly a genius. Although he's impatient with people, he's patient when it comes to accomplishing his goals, and he's no stranger to hard work. Why he likes impulsive, dim-witted Tokimo so much is anyone's guess, and he often complains loudly about her within ear shot of anyone else, despite his rather more affectionate manner when they're alone.
